{"id":1390,"date":"2016-11-15T15:45:21","date_gmt":"2016-11-15T15:45:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mundovegano.cr\/?post_type=portfolio&#038;p=1390"},"modified":"2020-05-04T14:20:29","modified_gmt":"2020-05-04T14:20:29","slug":"beer-brat-charro-beans","status":"publish","type":"portfolio","link":"https:\/\/www.mundovegano.cr\/en\/portfolio-item\/beer-brat-charro-beans\/","title":{"rendered":"Beer brat charro beans"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When you\u2019re out camping, this one-pot, beer brat stew comes together in a snap, especially if you chop the onion and garlic at home and transfer the beans and tomatoes to a container with a tight-fitting lid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6 servings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll need:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"list_hoja\">\n<li>2 tablespoons preferred vegetable oil<\/li>\n<li>1 onion, chopped<\/li>\n<li>3 cloves garlic, chopped<\/li>\n<li>1 package Tofurky\u00ae Beer Brats, cut into \u00bd\u201d slices<\/li>\n<li>2 cans pinto beans, rinsed and drained<\/li>\n<li>1 (14 ounce) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes<\/li>\n<li>1 (12 ounce) bottle Full Sail Amber Ale<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd teaspoon sea salt<\/li>\n<li>Chopped cilantro, for serving<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to make:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In a Dutch oven over a campfire or camp stove, heat oil. Saut\u00e9 onion and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes. Add brats and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in beans, tomatoes, beer, and salt. Simmer for 15 minutes.
